High School Educator of the Month: Jennifer Halfond Selected by staff for her role on the Pandemic Team. During the pandemic, she has been instrumental in keeping our staff and students safe with her work with professional development with COVID protocols for staff, contract tracing, communicating with those affected due to contact tracing, and COVID-testing staff and students. |
| High School Student of the Month: Nas’Zair Porter-Bellamy Selected for his growth in his behavior and grades while at the high school over the years. As a senior, he is following district SOAR values and passing all of his classes. He is also seen as a leader on our football team. |

Middle School Student of the Month: Suha Rockwell TSuha is described by her teachers as motivated, involved, and creative. She is the first, middle school learner to complete the ELA continuum at the Middle school and will be taking high school ELA credit as an 8th-grade learner. She is an excellent example of learner agency and is always looking to learn more. Suha is the director of The WAVE, a member of the Student Government Association, and enjoys reading. Her favorite subject is Math. Her plans include attending DC Tech and going on to become an engineer. | Middle School Educator of the Month: Trevar Scheuch Trevar has done a great job stepping into a new role and providing endless resources and help for the entire staff. He has been running all over the building daily to solve tech-related issues and then some. He is always positive, helpful, and dedicated to his work. He should be recognized for transitioning to his position as the Instructional Technology Integration Specialist smoothly. He has a genuine willingness to assist students and staff.
